We are in the top car park at Padstow. I came the motorised way but made Bernie walk! We were camped on a cliff top yesterday and so one would have thought there would have been service!
Highlight of my day was doing the washing and finding that the high tech machines needed no detergent or conditioner adding - they self dosed! How cool is that!!

No messing today - straight up the Coast Path. Gentle walking, a much lighter breeze & brilliant views.
Today's walk 12.7 miles : Cumulative 77.0 miles
I'd forgotten how much I love pasties - the hot steak & stilton I enjoyed in Mawgan Porth this morning might just turn out to be one of the finest moments of the whole walk!
Surprised by the cliff-top changes at Bedruthan Steps, one of my favourite spots on the Cornish coast. Elaborate, stone-block walkways & long steps leading down from a coach-stop area have made the cliffs & beach much more accessible: it was good to see quite elderly visitors negotiating the steps but a bit disconcerting to find them going down quicker than me!

Beer of the Day: 'Betty Stogs' a Skinner's (Truro) golden bitter: Camra award-winner! Enjoyed this but 100 yards along the trail I was thirsty again - not recommended for walkers!
Highlight: the free overnight stop given to us by the Treyarnon Bay Caravan Park when they learned we were walking Land's End to John O'Groats for the British Heart Foundation. We've put £15 on the JustGiving page on their behalf.
Thanks to Mrs Morley, Sarah & Chris & Trevor for your comments: it might sound silly, Trevor, but I still feel a bit guilty enjoying myself while you're all working away at Alec!
Thanks, also, to the 'other' Mrs Morley (Ann) for your donation.

Thursday is supposed to be a day off but I think we might press on!
So glad you are getting the chance to do your washing in exciting ways all over the country. It must be a dream come true :-)
